New maps and data now available for county-level health insurance indicators from the US Census Bureau’s Small Area Health Insurance Estimates (SAHIE) Program.

New data from the Census Bureau’s SAHIE program has been processed and released. New estimates compliment state and PUMA-level health insurance coverage estimates from the ACS (Indicator: Uninsured Population (Total). The county-level SAHIE data covers the entire US, but lacks detailed race and ethnicity estimates available through the ACS. Sampling and processing design differ between the two datasets; they should not be directly compared. New Indicators:
