New maps and data now available for SNAP-Authorized Food Store Access indicator from the US Department of Agriculture Food and Nutrition Service.
Analysis was implemented to generate tract-level estimates of access to SNAP-authorized retailers. Counts of SNAP Retailers are current as of December 2017. Population estimates are from the US 2010 Decennial Census. Maps are now available at the 2010 census tract level.

Correction made to prevalence estimates for chlamydia incidence rates in Washington, DC.
We identified an error in the original source data affecting report areas including Washington, DC. In the original source data, when reported as a county level value, the chlamydia incidence rate for Washingtonm, DC is recorded as 0.30. When reported at the state level, the value for Washingtonm, DC is recorded as 814.3. The platform now uses the state-level values for all areas including Washington, DC.

Indicators displaying the percentage of population with low food access and population living in food deserts have been updated. The updated data were released in January 2017 and reflect conditions on the ground in 2015, replacing previous indicator data reflecting conditions 2010.
