New map and data from the Bureau of Economic Analysis display information about Gross domestic product (Real GDP by county and metropolitan area is an inflation-adjusted measure of each area’s gross product that is based on national prices for the goods and services produced within the area. This indicator reports the annual population estimate derived from the Census Bureau’s Population Estimates Program (PEP). PEP annually utilizes current data on births, deaths, and migration to calculate population change since the most recent decennial census and produce a time series of estimates of population, demographic components of change, and housing units.

The Small Area Health Insurance Estimates (SAHIE) dataset contains annual estimates of the population with and without health insurance. Data are available by age group and sex. This update reports information about calendar year 2024; data were released by the US Census Bureau in August, 2026.

This layer displays the total number and percentage of children in poverty (in households with income or below 100% of the Federal Poverty Level). Data are from the latest US Census Bureau Small Area Income and Poverty Estimates (SAIPE) dataset and are available at the county, state, and school-district level.
