New map and data from the Bureau of Economic Analysis display information about Gross domestic product (Real GDP by county and metropolitan area is an inflation-adjusted measure of each area’s gross product that is based on national prices for the goods and services produced within the area. The real estimates of gross domestic product (GDP) by county and metropolitan area are measured in current dollars.). New breakouts display trend over the last 10 years. Affected Indicator:

This indicator reports the annual population estimate derived from the Census Bureau’s Population Estimates Program (PEP). PEP annually utilizes current data on births, deaths, and migration to calculate population change since the most recent decennial census and produce a time series of estimates of population, demographic components of change, and housing units.

The Small Area Health Insurance Estimates (SAHIE) dataset contains annual estimates of the population with and without health insurance. Data are available by age group and sex. This update reports information about calendar year 2024; data were released by the US Census Bureau in August, 2026.

This layer displays the total number and percentage of children in poverty (in households with income or below 100% of the Federal Poverty Level). Data are from the latest US Census Bureau Small Area Income and Poverty Estimates (SAIPE) dataset and are available at the county, state, and school-district level.

Data for the 2024 Area Deprivation Index (ADI) are now available! The ADI is a ranking of neighborhoods by socioeconomic status disadvantage in a region of interest (e.g. at the state or national level). It includes factors for the theoretical domains of income, education, employment, and housing quality. It can be used to inform health delivery and policy, especially for the most disadvantaged neighborhood groups.

This indicator reports the number and percentage of students identified as English Learners (EL). Detailed information, including grade level, race and Hispanic origin, and spoken language detail is also available.

The CMS Medicare and Medicaid indicators and maps have been updated to 2024 using data from the Medicare Geographic Variation Public Use File (National, State, and County).

This layer displays the total number of providers that provide broadband level services. Only records with copper, cable, fiber, or licensed fixed wireless are counted.

The new Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs) data for 2026 Q1 are now available. Data were from the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services – Provider of Services File.
