Annual Wellness Exam, 2017
A new indicator has been added to the reporting platform! This indicator reports the annual wellness exam utilization rates among Medicare beneficiaries from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) Mapping Medicare Disparities tool. Data are reported for the latest report period (2017) with trends over time available beginning with year 2012. Data breakouts by race and ethnicity are also available.
New maps and data now available for mortality indicators from the CDC WONDER Underlying Cause of Death Database.
New 5-year mortality rates for 2014-2018 are now available (replacing data for 2013-2017). Affected indicators:

New maps and data now available for the 30-day Hospital Readmissions indicator from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) Geographic Variation Public Use File. Data have been updated through report year 2017. Trends over time now available beginning with year 2010.
New maps and data now available for mortality indicators from the CDC WONDER Underlying Cause of Death Database.
New 5-year mortality rates for 2014-2018 are now available for the “deaths of despair” indicator (replacing data for 2012-2016). This indicator reports the rate of deaths for suicide, drug overdose, and alcoholic liver diseases.
New maps and data now available for Alcohol-Involved Motor Vehicle Fatality indicator.
