New 5-year mortality rates for 2014-2018 are now available for the “deaths of despair” indicator (replacing data for 2012-2016). This indicator reports the rate of deaths for suicide, drug overdose, and alcoholic liver diseases.
Emegency Room Utilization Rate, 2018
A new indicator has been added to the reporting platform! This indicator reports emergency department utilization rates among Medicare beneficiaries from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) Geographic Variation Public Use File. Data are reported for the latest report period (2018) with trends over time available beginning with year 2010.
Adults with No Leisure-Time Physical Activity, 2017
New data are available for 2017 (replacing data for 2016) for indicators from the CDC National Center for Chronic Disease Prevention and Health Promotion (NCCDPHP). Time series data are updated to include 2004 through 2017. Data by gender (male/female) are also available for this indicator.
