New maps and data now available for Student Reading Proficiency (4th Grade) indicator. New estimates for the 2021-2022 school year were acquired from the U.S. Department of Education EDData Express program (replacing estimates from the 2020-21 school year).

New 5-year mortality rates for 2019-2023 are now available (replacing data for 2018-2021 4-year rates). Death counts were downloaded from the CDC WONDER query system. Total rates and race/ethnicity or gender statistics are reported for US counties and states with 10 or more deaths over the report period.  Affected indicators:
