Population Unable to Afford Rental Housing at Fair Market Rents
Layer display data from the National Low Income Housing Coalition’s 2014 Out of Reach data release. Data is available at the county level and depicts the total number and percentage of renters likely to be cost-burdened (spending more than 30% of income on housing) at Fair Market Rent rates.
Children with Over 4 Hours of Screen Time per Day
This layer displays the percentage of children age 0 – 17 whose parents report that they spend more than 4 hours per day, on average, watching television or playing video games. This layer displays information about the average cost of meals eaten away from home by US Census Division. Data was acquired from the 2nd Quarter 2012 Food-Away-From-Home Prices Database, released by the US Department of Agriculture (USDA) Economic Research Service (ERS). Toggle data types to view the average cost of meals at full service restaurants, the average cost of meals eaten at limited-service restaurants, and charted comparisons between the two.
Bars and Drinking Establishment Rates by County
This layer displays the rates and total counts of bars and other drinking establishments in counties across the United States. Establishment counts are acquired from the 2012 County Business Patterns, released by the US Census Bureau in May 2014.
