Missouri Ag Intel

The Missouri Ag Intel portal promotes the growth of alternative crops among farmers in the state. This University of Missouri project has created a website to provide tools such as maps to visualize available nearby markets and farms as well as information on how to improve management skills (labor, sales, marketing, etc.) and learn about crop growing requirements (weather, soil type, etc.).

The Missouri Community Action Network Data Hub is designed to assist local Community Action Agency staff in the development of Community Needs Assessments (CNAs). Launched in the early 2000’s, Missouri CAN was our first Community Needs Assessment report. The Missouri CAN Data Hub provides access to core secondary indicators for assessing and addressing poverty. The Hub also provides Missouri CAA’s with access to state-sourced data and a full Map Room.

Hosting a custom CNA, full Map Room, and a specialized Housing Report, the National CAP Hub is a trusted resource for assessing and addressing issues related to poverty.

Creating Healthy Communities Ohio

The Creating Healthy Communities Ohio Hub was launched in 2015 by the Ohio Department of Health. The CHC Ohio Hub supports 20+ counties in Ohio with health-related policy, system, and environmental change strategy tracking, evaluation, and reporting. The Hub helps individual counties track progress on community health interventions and provides aggregate data to state-level managers for initiative-level metrics.

In 2018, the Georgia Rural Health Innovation Center and Mercer University partnered with CARES to provide the state of Georgia and its public health entities with a custom community health needs assessment (CHNA), Map Room, and a Health Asset Finder.
