The Andrew County Public Health Department has teamed up with CARES to develop a local public health dashboard that provides citizens and the media with easy access to data for all major reportable diseases. Data are shown for more than 15 reportable diseases in the county with benchmarks for previous years.
Colorado Insights
CARES, in partnership with Colorado State University, engaged in a series of listening and design sessions with professionals and stakeholders from across CSU Extension to learn more about their data needs and potential solutions. CARES summarized and synthesized findings from the sessions and delivered recommendations and a roadmap to CSU OEE for review and planning.
All Things Nebraska
All Things Nebraska serves as Nebraska’s central data and mapping resource for policy-makers, business owners, farmers, and community organizations working to resolve issues related to: agriculture, economic development, health, well-being, and safety. All Things Nebraska provides access to national, state, and local (Nebraska-sourced) data all in one platform. It hosts the Nebraska Map Room and tools to support University of Nebraska Extension programs and services.
University of Missouri System Broadband Initiative
CARES built, maintains, and curates the Missouri Broadband Resource Rail and supports Initiative projects through data collection, analysis, mapping, and the creation of story maps for projects in designated communities.
Oklahoma Vocational Rehabilitation Portal
The Oklahoma Vocational Rehabilitation Hub supports ETS specialists (employment transition services) in entering data and reporting about students’ use of services. These data are aggregated to meet federal reporting requirements and used by staff at the Oklahoma Career Center. Data are stored in secure databases due to sensitive information.
Recovery Friendly Workplaces
The Missouri Recovery Friendly Workplaces Hub provides resources to employers on how to become a recovery friendly workplace. Recovery Friendly Workplaces promote employee safety, health, and well-being by reducing stigma and providing recovery resources related to the challenges surrounding substance use disorders.
CARES COVID-19 Dashboards
CARES hosts a suite of COVID-19 data dashboards at the national, state, and local levels. The city and county dashboards are the result of a partnership between CARES and local public health departments to streamline and make data publicly available.
Center for Health Policy
CARES provides data analysis support to the Center for Health Policy at the University of Missouri School of Medicine.
IACAA Data Hub
CARES provides widgets to the Illinois Association of Community Action Agencies to assist local Community Action Agency staff in the development of Community Needs Assessments (CNAs). IACAA hosts CARES Data Tools on their organizational website. CARES provides access to core secondary indicators for assessing and addressing poverty.
Massachusetts Health Data Tool
The Massachusetts Health Data Tool is a suite of reporting and mapping platforms designed to help visitors find community- and state-specific data quickly and easily. With access to over 100 indicators, the Community and State Reporting tools provide access to up-to-date data on social determinants of health, as well as health behaviors, health outcomes, and healthcare delivery. In the Map Room, visitors can map their communities and explore over 28,000 current and historical data layers from more than 120 national secondary sources.
