Community Connect collects and showcases engagement and youth development activities sponsored by the University of Missouri System. Engagements from across the four campuses are collected through standardized forms which are then easily posted as stories on the portal.

University of Missouri Impact Portal

The UM Impact Portal reports highlighting the impact of the University of Missouri presence across Missouri. The Impact Report provides both aggregate and county-level university-specific statistics like the number of employees, students, and alumni in an area.

Missouri Ag Intel

The Missouri Ag Intel portal promotes the growth of alternative crops among farmers in the state. This University of Missouri project has created a website to provide tools such as maps to visualize available nearby markets and farms as well as information on how to improve management skills (labor, sales, marketing, etc.) and learn about crop growing requirements (weather, soil type, etc.).

Nutrient Management Planner

Nutrient Management Planner serves as an MU Extension site consolidator for nutrient management. Farmers, researchers, and technicians can learn to use this information to maximize cost efficiency by using manure as a fertilizer and comply with state and federal requirements, such as those pertaining to nitrogen runoff.

Grazing Wedge

The Grazing Wedge tool is designed to provide farmers with best practices for forage management, including strategies for forage optimization by measureing forage growth and rotation. The Grazing Wedge tool allows users to draw farm and paddock layouts, enter data, and visualize forage status.

Georgia Rural Health Innovation Center Data Hub

In 2018, the Georgia Rural Health Innovation Center and Mercer University partnered with CARES to provide the state of Georgia and its public health entities with a custom community health needs assessment (CHNA), Map Room, and a Health Asset Finder. These tools were all launched as widgets, or embeddable tools, and can be found on at https://georgiaruralhealth.org
