Demographics

  • Linguistically Isolated Households
  • Population Geographic Mobility
  • Foreign-Born Population
  • Hispanic Population
  • Urban and Rural Population

Social & Economic Factors

  • Income Over $75,000 (Family)
  • Population with Associate’s Level Degree or Higher

Correction made to service area age-adjusted rates for the Asian population for all mortality indicators sourced from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) National Vital Statistics System (NVSS) database.

An error in the queries controlling age-adjusted rates for the Asian population was identified in the database on February 13th, 2013. The errors have been corrected; rates for the total population and for other racial / ethnic groups are unchanged and. Affected Indicators:

New maps and data now available for food access indicators from the US Department of Agriculature (USDA) Economic Research Service (ERS).

New data and maps from the USDA Economic Research Service measuring low food access have been processed and released. New estimates are based on 2010 population figures and grocery directories, replacing previous estimates which used inputs from 2006. Affected Indicators:

  • Population with Low Food Access (Previously called Food Desert Population)
  • Low Income Population with Low Food Access

New data and maps from the USDA Economic Research Service measuring low food access have been processed and released. New estimates are based on 2010 population figures and grocery directories, replacing previous estimates which used inputs from 2006. Affected Indicators:
