The 2020–2022 data on drug overdose deaths are now available. This indicator reports the three-year average rate of death due to drug overdose per 100,000 population, based on county-level data and summarized for report areas in the 2025 County Health Rankings. Deaths are counted by county of residence, and data are suppressed for counties with fewer than 10 drug poisoning deaths in the time period.
