HUD Point-in-Time Estimates of Homelessness – Data Update to 2022!

HUD PIT homeless population estimates are now updated to 2022 data. The indicator reports data for the total homeless rate per 100 population as of 2022, the state level trend from 2007 to 2022, and disaggregated homeless population (total, chronic, individual, family, veteran, and unsheltered) change from 2020 to 2022.

New maps and data now available for the Other Primary Care Providers indicator from the 2025 County Health Rankings.

The 2024 data on non-physician primary care providers are now available. This indicator reports the rate of providers such as nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and clinical nurse specialists per 100,000 population, along with the population-to-provider ratio, and is featured in the 2025 County Health Rankings. These providers are vital for ensuring access to preventive and routine care, particularly in areas experiencing physician shortages.
