Layers update the Small Area Health Insurance Estimates (SAHIE) from the U.S. Census Bureau for the year 2011. In addition to updating the county information, new data was added at the state level including racial breakdowns for populations without insurance.

Wireless Internet Service Areas, 25MBPS or Higher
This layer displays the service area for terrestrial/fixed wireless high speed internet as of June 2014. Mapped service areas do not include mobile/cellular wireless data providers. Providers of fixed wireless broadband services typically provide equipment to customers and install a small antenna or dish somewhere on the roof. This equipment is usually deployed as a service and maintained by the company providing that service. Fixed wireless services have become particularly popular in many rural areas where Cable, DSL or other typical home Internet services are not available.

This layer displays the service area for wired high-speed internet connections as of June 2014. Wired connection types include DSL, cable, and fiber internet providers.

This layer displays the average number of high-speed internet providers as of June 2017. Data are available by county, census tract, and census block group. Values are population-weighted; calculations do not include internet access based solely on cellular internet providers.

Data are reported by census block (centroid).
