New map and data now available for the Gross Domestic Product indicator from the US Bureau of Economic Analysis (BEA).

New map and data from the Bureau of Economic Analysis display information about Gross domestic product (Real GDP by county and metropolitan area is an inflation-adjusted measure of each area’s gross product that is based on national prices for the goods and services produced within the area. The real estimates of gross domestic product (GDP) by county and metropolitan area are measured in chained (2017) dollars.). New breakouts display trend over the last 10 years. Affected Indicator:

New maps and data now available for five indicators from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) Behavioral Risk Factor Surveillance System (BRFSS).

Behavioral Risk Factor Surveillance System data for the 2005-11 seven-year period has been released. Updates replace previous indicator data from the 2004-2010 seven-year period. Affected Indicators:

Improvements made to calculations for High School Graduation Rate indicator.

Service area / multi-county area estimates are now available. Graduation rates are provided from County Health Rankings; freshman base enrollment (denominator) figures are generated from the National Center for Education Statistics (NCES) Common Core of Data files; diplomas issued (numerator) figures are estimated through the combination of these sources. See indicator methodology and footnotes for more information. Affected indicators:

Improvements made to race/ethnicity reporting for all California Health Interview Survey (CHIS) data.

Estimates suppressed for counties and service areas where indicator data is statistically unstable. Some race/ethnicity groups no longer reported, but reported data is more accurate. Affected indicators:

Changed data source (from BRFSS 2010) to BRFSS 2006-2010 5-year estimates. Indicator data is now available at the county level for areas with over 500 total responses. Affected indicators:
