The Environmental Conservation Online System (ECOS) is a gateway web site that provides access to data systems in the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (Service) and other government data sources. This central point of access assists Service personnel in managing data and information, and it provides public access to information from numerous Service databases.
Long-Term Vacancies by Census Tract, 2018
This layer This layer displays the percentage of residential or commercial properties that were vacant for 12 months or more during the reporting quarter. Data are presented at the census-tract level for the 4th quarter of 2018 (October – December). Map layers for additional time periods are also available in the map room.
Locations of Dental Care Providers
This layer displays the locations of all dental health care providers with a CMS National Provider Identifier (NPI). Data are from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) August 2019 National Provider Identifier (NPI) downloadable file.
Locations of Primary Care Physicians
This layer displays the locations of all primary care physicians with a CMS National Provider Identifier (NPI). Primary care physicians are those MDs or DOs specializing in family practice, general practice, pediatric medicine, or internal medicine. Data are from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) August 2019 National Provider Identifier (NPI) downloadable file.
Local Law Enforcement
This layer includes any location where sworn officers of a law enforcement agency are regularly based or stationed. Law Enforcement agencies “are publicly funded and employ at least one full-time or part-time sworn officer with general arrest powers”. This is the definition used by the US Department of Justice – Bureau of Justice Statistics (DOJ-BJS) for their Law Enforcement Management and Administrative Statistics (LEMAS) survey.
Power Plants
This feature class/shapefile represents electric power plants. Power plants are all the land and land rights, structures and improvements, boiler or reactor vessel equipment, engines and engine-driven generators, turbo generator units, accessory electric equipment, and miscellaneous power plant equipment are grouped together for each individual facility.
Army Corps Enbankments
This layer displays United States Army Core of Engineers surveyed Embankments. The USACE defines an Embankment as the area of a floodplain from which flood water is excluded by the levee system. For more information about USACE data, visit the National Levee Database.
Uranium Deposits
This database contains the records previously provided in the Mineral Resource Data System (MRDS) of USGS and the Mineral Availability System/Mineral Industry Locator System (MAS/MILS) originated in the U.S. Bureau of Mines, which is now part of USGS. The MRDS is a large and complex relational database developed over several decades by hundreds of researchers and reporters. This product is a digest in which the fields chosen are those most likely to contain valid information.

This feature class/shapefile represents Ethanol Plants. An Ethanol Plant is a facility that uses various biomass source to produce ethanol for use as a fuel.
Army Corps Floodwalls
