Data are from the August, 2019 release of the Federal Communication Commission (FCC) Fixed Broadband Deployment Dataset and reflect conditions as of June 2018. Data are available by county, census tract, and census block group. Values are population-weighted; calculations do not include cellular internet providers.

Data are reported by census block (centroid).

Fatal Motor Vehicle Crashes Involving Alcohol, 2014-2018
This layer displays the number and percentage of fatal vehicle crashes involving alcohol occurring between 2014 and 2018. Data are aggregated by county of occurrence.
Safe Drinking Water Information System Sites
This layer displays the locations of a subset of the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Safe Drinking Water Information System (SDWIS) sites. The SDWIS contains information about public water systems and their violations of EPA’s drinking water regulations. Data can be accessed through the EPA’s Clip N Ship map application. This is a polygon coverage of Physiographic Divisions in the
conterminous United States. It was automated from Fenneman’s
1:7,000,000-scale map, “Physical Divisions of the United
States,” which is based on eight major 1946 divisions, 25 provinces,
and 86 sections representing distinctive areas having common
topography, rock types and structure, and geologic and
geomorphic history.

This layer displays the percent of people who use the internet at broadband speeds (Greater than 25 MBPS download speed). Data is derived from the Microsoft data science and analytics team, using anonymized user data and aggregated to the county level.
