IACAA Data Hub
CARES provides widgets to the Illinois Association of Community Action Agencies to assist local Community Action Agency staff in the development of Community Needs Assessments (CNAs). IACAA hosts CARES Data Tools on the IACAA organizational website. CARES provides access to core indicators for assessing and addressing poverty.
Massachusetts Department of Health
The Massachusetts Population Health Information Tool (PHIT) is a suite of reporting and mapping platforms designed to help visitors find community and state-specific data quickly and easily. With access to over 100 indicators, the Community and State Reporting tools provide access to up-to-date data on social determinants of health, as well as health behaviors, health outcomes, and healthcare delivery. The platform also hosts a resource library and the Massachusetts Map Room.
Building Regional Resilience
The Building Regional Resilience Hub was active between 2018 and 2024 and provided counties across the nation with a resilience index and underlying data to support the creation and enactment of community resilience plans.
Boone County Food Insecurity
Boone County Food Coalition brings together local stakeholders to address food insecurity in the Boone County area. CARES provided data acquisition and mapping services to the Coalition.
Springfield-Greene County Community Health Needs Assessment
CARES provides data to the Springfield-Greene County Health Department for analysis and use in their community health needs assessments.
Coalition Against Trafficking & Exploitation
CARES partners with the Coalition Against Trafficking and Exploitation (CATE) to maintain an interactive and dynamic resource map. The resource map is embedded on the CATE website and updated annually with new information.
Police Stop Disparities Report
This report examines racial disparity in Columbia (MO) Police Department traffic stops across age, sex, varying levels of geography, reasons for initiating post-stop searches, post-search outcomes, and factors that predict the likelihood that a stopped driver is Black. Disparity, discrimination, and racial bias in policing have been historically, and continue to be, an important policy issue.
Show-Me-Select Heifer
The Show-Me-Select project provides a database and web interface to better track information on production and sales for producers involved in the Show-Me-Select Heifer program. The protected website allows for data entry, reporting, and temporal tracking of sales data. CARES manages the site to allow data entry and extraction by Extension staff for the use of producers, veterinarians, and specialists in Missouri.

The Lincoln Home site provides researchers with access to a database of Lincoln Home site photographs.
