New maps and data for the 2024 Area Deprivation Index are now available!

Data for the 2024 Area Deprivation Index (ADI) are now available! The ADI is a ranking of neighborhoods by socioeconomic status disadvantage in a region of interest (e.g. at the state or national level). It includes factors for the theoretical domains of income, education, employment, and housing quality. It can be used to inform health delivery and policy, especially for the most disadvantaged neighborhood groups.

Social Vulnerability Index, 2018

This layer displays the CDC’s 2018 Social Vulnerability Index (SVI) score. The SVI indicates the relative vulnerability of every U.S. census tract and county. SVI ranks areas on 15 social factors, including unemployment, minority status, and disability.
