DHSS through an agreement with the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid (CMS), performs initial and periodic surveys, and conducts complaint investigations in regard to patient care provided in ESRD’s. Adult Daycare
This dataset developed by the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services. Adult Day Care service is defined as the continuous care and supervision of disabled adults in a licensed adult day care setting for up to 10 hours (forty (40) 15 minute units) per day for a maximum of 5 days. Adult day cares are non-residential facilities. September 2020 update.

This dataset was developed by the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services. Rural Clinics are outpatient facilities that provide services to medically underserved populations. Rural clinics must be located in an area defined by the US Bureau of the Census as non-urbanized. An urbanized area is defined as “a densely settled territory that contains 50,000 or more people” by the Bureau. August 2020 Update.
Long Term Care Faclilities
This dataset developed by the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services. Location of nursing home, LTC facilities in MIssouri. LTC licenses by type of care. Since many facilities offer different levels of care, some addresses and locations may appear in this file more than once. August 2020 update.
Intermediate Care Facilities for the Intellectually Disabled
This dataset developed by the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services. An American Medicaid-funded institutional long-term support and service (LTSS) for people with intellectual disabilities or related conditions. Section 1905(d) of the Social Security Act enacted benefits and made funding available for “institutions” (which consisted of 4 or more beds) for individuals with intellectual or related conditions. According to federal law 42 CFR § 440.150 the purpose of ICD/IIDs is to “furnish health or rehabilitative services to persons with Intellectual Disability or persons with related conditions”. Facilities are licensed by the Missouri Department of Mental Health and inspected by the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services, Long Term Care Program. August 2020 update.
