Facilities Designated as Health Professional Shortage Areas
This layer displays the location and characteristics of institutional HPSAs, or Health Professional Shortage Areas. HPSA facilities are designated by HRSA as having shortages of primary medical care, dental or mental health providers and consist of comprehensive health centers, federally qualified health centers or other public facilities. Data are current as of April 28, 2025.
Average Time Spent in Emergency Department
This layer displays the median minutes spent in the Emergency Department before leaving at the hospital level.
Patients who Left Emergency Department Without Being Seen
This layer displays the percentage of patients who left the Emergency Department before being seen.
Hospital Readmissions
This layer displays the hospital readmission rate from 2020-2023 at the hospital level.
