New indicators about disability and cognitive decline and chronic disease management have been added to the Missouri Adult Health Data Report. These indicators use data from the 2024* Behavioral Risk Factor Surveillance System (BRFSS) and are reported for the state of Missouri and for Missouri’s BRFSS regions. Indicators include:
Disability And Cognitive Decline
- Difficulty Concentrating, Remembering, Or Making Decisions
- Difficulty Walking Or Climbing Stairs
- Difficulty Dressing Or Bathing
- Difficulty Doing Errands Alone
- Had A Recent Fall (45+)
- Injured In A Fall (45+)
- Experienced Cognitive Decline
- Worried About Cognitive Decline
- Discussed Cognitive Decline With A Provider
- Cognitive Decline Interferes With Daily Activities (45+)
- Cognitive Decline Interferes With Social Activities (45+)

- Diabetes – Recent A1C Test
